Theresa Laurico is a vibrant, passionate and award winning television producer, social entrepreneur and leader. She is the founder and executive director of Love in Action, owner of e11even Productions Inc. and social enterprise, Socialight.

Her television work can be seen on national and international airwaves and former clients include: CTV Creative Agency, MuchMusic, Rogers, Citytv, and Zink Inc. Her non-profit, Love in Action, calls youth to be in action towards various initiatives, charities and causes including Free the Children, Planeterra and Seva Canada. LIA’s positive global impact reaches Tibet, Peru, Africa, Canada and the United States and corporate partners include world renowned travel company, Gap Adventures.

Today, in partnership with Windows of Opportunity, Love in Action’s leadership curriculum is taught in New York City and is expanding across North America.

Laurico holds a Journalism degree from Ryerson University and an Executive Media Leadership MPP from Shulich School of Business. She has received numerous accolades including a national Canadian leadership award from the former Lieutenant Governor, the 2010 Urban Hero Award, and the CFC NBC Universal MMP.

As a reflection of her commitment to empower, educate and inspire leaders globally, she has become a member of the Centre of Social Innovation and launched Socialight by partnering with Dan Jacob to bring you a conference like no other!
